Day 1 - Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta &
Uluru
Our adventure begins travelling to the Outback Camel Farm where passengers
will get to ride a camel (at own expense), before continuing on to Uluru
(Ayers Rock) viewing the unique scenery along the way. After lunch, we
set out to explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta (Olgas) and hike the Valley
of the Winds. We return to watch the desert sun set over Uluru (Ayers
Rock). After dinner at our permanent campsite, view the brilliance of
the outback sky then curl up for the night in our tents or if you prefer,
under the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie bedroll (swag). (LD)
Day 2 - Uluru to Kings Canyon

4 Day 4WD Red Centre Safari
Day 1 - Alice Springs to Kata Tjuta &
Uluru
Ride a camel this morning at the Outback Camel Farm (at own expense) and
then continue on through theremote outback of the Red Centre to Uluru
(Ayers Rock). After lunch, we set out to explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta
(Olgas) on a guided interpretive walk through the Valley of the Winds
returning in time to view the desert sun set over Uluru. After dinner
curl up under the millions of stars in an authentic Aussie bedroll (swag)

Day 2 - Uluru to Kings Canyon
An early start is required to view the magical Uluru sunrise. Absorb the
early morning wonder on a 9.4km walk around the base of Uluru or if you
prefer, tackle the climb. Enjoy a guided interpretive walk exploring mysterious
rock formations and Aboriginal art sites followed by a visit to the Cultural
Centre. After lunch we depart for Kings Canyon, where we enjoy a delicious
camp oven dinner and overnight at our permanent campsite at Kings Canyon

Day 3 - Kings Canyon to Glen Helen
Climb and explore Kings Canyon viewing the impressive formations of the
'Amphitheatre', 'Lost City', picturesque 'Garden of Eden' and the breathtaking
North and South Walls. After lunch, we travel along the famous Mereenie
Loop Track, sighting Gosse Bluff (a meteorite crater believed to be over
130 million years old) and the home of renowned Aboriginal artist Albert
Namitjira as we travel towards Glen Helen. We spend tonight in our permanent
campsite at Glen Helen, nestled in the western end of the majestic MacDonnell
Ranges. (BLD)
Day 4 - Glen Helen to Alice Springs
This morning we explore picturesque Ormiston Gorge before engaging '4WD'
as we travel along the ancient track of the Finke River into Palm Valley
and Cycad Gorge. We spend most of the day exploring Palm Valley, the site
of an in-land sea in prehistoric times and home to one of the rarest trees
in the world, tropical palm Livistonia Mariae. Enjoy the spectacular scenery
of the Western MacDonnell Ranges as we journey back to Alice Springs.

6 Day Alice Springs to Adelaide
Safari
Day 1 - Alice Spring to Kings Canyon & Uluru
Experience the remote outback of the Red Centre as we drive to Kings Canyon
to climb and explore the impressive formations of the Amphitheatre,
Lost City, the picturesque Garden of Eden and
the breathtaking North and South Walls. After lunch continue on to Uluru
(Ayers Rock) passing Mt Connor and Curtin Springs cattle station. After

Day 2 - Uluru and Kata Tjuta
Up before dawn to experience an Uluru sunrise and either an optional climb
or base walk, exploring the mysterious rock formations and Aboriginal
Art sites. Visit the Cultural Centre for a greater insight into Aboriginal
art and beliefs with the opportunity to purchase art & crafts. After
lunch, hike the spectacular Valley of the Winds in Kata Tjuta
(The Olgas) then enjoy a glass of sparkling wine while watching the desert
sun set over Uluru. Return to camp to enjoy a traditional camp oven dinner

Day 3 - Uluru to Coober Pedy
An early departure this morning as we head to Coober Pedy, crossing the
Northern Territory/South Australian border. On arrival enjoy a mine tour,
including an opal cutting demonstration, with the chance to try opal fossicking
(time permitting). Overnight in an underground bunkhouse at Coober Pedy.

Day 4 - Coober Pedy to Rawnsley Park
Today we journey further south along the Stuart Highway passing the rocket-launching
township of Woomera, breaking for lunch at Port Augusta before arriving
at the spectacular sheep station of Rawnsley Park in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - Wilpena Pound to Parachilna
An early start to the day for the challenging climb of Mt Ohlssen-Bagge.
Be rewarded with fantastic views of Wilpena Pound, the Ranges, desert
and Lake Torrens. After lunch, we drive through spectacular Parachilna
Gorge as we head to Parachilna. Overnight dorm accommodation and a memorable
Aussie BBQ (including local game) at Parachilna. (BLD)
Day 6 - Parachilna to Adelaide
This morning we take a short walk to view Aboriginal rock art at Yourambulla
Caves then visit the ruins of Kanyaka Homestead. We take a break in the
historic railway township of Quorn, before heading to Adelaide via the

Day 2 - Banka Banka to Katherine Gorge
Call in at the most famous outback pub at Daly Waters, have a swim in
Mataranka Thermal Springs, then head to the magnificent Katherine Gorge

Day 3 - Katherine Gorge to Darwin
Spend half a day at the spectacular Katherine Gorge (canoe, cruise or
helicopter ride at own expense) before heading to Darwin via Edith Falls
and Adelaide River. Overnight dorm accommodation included. (BL)
Day 4 - Darwin to Mary River
See the falls of Litchfield National Park then head to the Mary River
Wetlands for an afternoon wildlife cruise. Enjoy dinner at our overnight
camp at Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge. (LD)
Day 5 - Mary River to Kakadu
We call in at Mamukala Wetlands then 4WD into the awesome Jim Jim Falls
before heading to Twin Falls where we join a National Park operated boat
and boardwalk experience through the gorge to the waterfall. We drive

Day 6 - Kakadu to Darwin
Our first stop is Ubirr to discover ancient Aboriginal rock art then head
to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where we do some hiking and enjoy a refreshing

Day 4 - Banka Banka to Katherine Gorge
We head further north to the famous outback
pub at Daly Waters, the oldest pub in the Northern Territory and first
international airport in Australia! After lunch we travel to Mataranka
to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the crystal clear thermal springs. Late
afternoon we travel towards the magnificent Katherine Gorge for our overnight

Day 5 - Katherine Gorge to Darwin
Spend half a day canoeing or cruising (at own
expense) the spectacular gorge. There is also the chance for a scenic
helicopter flight (at own expense) to appreciate the vastness of the gorge
system. After lunch we head into Darwin via Edith Falls and Adelaide River.

Day 6 - Darwin to Kakadu
We view wildife at the pristine Mary River Wetlands
on a crocodile & wildlife cruise. After lunch, we visit Bowali Visitor
Centre and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Ubirr Rock. Overnight

Day 7 - Kakadu to Darwin
Our first stop is the awesome Jim Jim Falls
located deep within striking escarpment country, where we walk to the
base of the fall. After lunch, we head to Twin Falls where we join a National
Park operated boat and boardwalk experience up the stunning gorge to the
waterfall where you can relax on the sandy bank, before travelling back

Day 5 - Alice Springs to Banka Banka
We stop at the Tropic of Capricorn before calling in at an Aboriginal
community for the chance to purchase authentic Aboriginal art. Then we
head to the Devils Marbles to explore these mysterious formations. After
a lunch-stop at Mary Ann Dam with the chance for a refreshing swim (summer
only), we enjoy a tour of the Battery Stamp Gold Mine at Tennant Creek.
We travel on to the historic Banka Banka Cattle Station, one of the first
in the NT, where we get to meet the ringers and learn about cattle station
life. There is time for a swim (weather permitting) before settling down

Day 6 - Banka Banka to Katherine Gorge
We head further north to experience the famous outback pub at Daly Waters,

historic memorabilia and meet some of the local characters. After lunch

Day 5 - Alice Springs To Boulia
Our road trip from the heart of the Australian desert to the Tropics begins
early today. A big day is ahead, travelling unsealed roads through one
of the most remote areas in Australia. Lunch today is at Jervois Station.
Skirt the top of the Simpson Desert before stopping at Tobermorey Station.
If youve never had a feeling of remoteness before, you will today!
Tonight stay at Wirrelyerna Station - a fantastic experience!
Day 6 - Boulia To Hughenden
We re-join the sealed Highway passing through Boulia. Our first stop this
morning is a little pub in the middle of nowhere, Middleton Pub
population 5. Continue on to Carisbrook Station where we enjoy a BBQ lunch

Day 7 - Hughenden To Cairns
A short drive this morning to Porcupine Gorge lookout, before a great
opportunity to spot our unique native wildlife, especially this time of
day. After a brief stop at Australias smallest bar, we re-join the
sealed road travelling through the lush Atherton Tablelands. Wooroonooren
National Park is our next stop. Take a breathtaking rainforest walk (relaxed
2hrs) & swim at the Nandroya Falls before continuing to Cairns.

10 Day Alice Springs to
Melbourne
Day 1 - Alice Springs to Kings Canyon
Experience the remote outback of the Red Centre as we drive from to Kings
Canyon to climb and explore the Canyon, viewing the impressive formations
of the Amphitheatre, Lost City, the picturesque
Garden of Eden and the breathtaking North and South Walls
before heading to our permanent campsite for some great camp oven cooking.

Day 2 - Kings Canyon to Kata Tjuta &
Uluru
We head for Uluru (Ayers Rock) enjoying the sights of Mt Connor and Curtin
Springs cattle station along the way. After lunch, hike the Valley
of the Winds at Kata Tjuta (Olgas) before experiencing an Uluru
sunset. Enjoy a hearty dinner before turning in at our permanent campsite
in Yulara. (BLD)
Day 3 - Uluru to Coober Pedy
An early start is required for one of the highlights of the tour - the
Uluru sunrise. You can enjoy a walk around the base, exploring the mysterious
rock formations and Aboriginal art sites while watching the changing light
on the desert or choose to climb. We visit the Cultural Centre for the
chance to view and purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts, then we depart
for Coober Pedy and our overnight stay in an underground bunkhouse (NB:
Upgrade to hotel accommodation available at additional expense) (BLD)
Day 4 - Coober Pedy to Rawnsley Park
Enjoy a morning town and mine tour with an opal cutting demonstration
followed by the chance to go opal fossicking (time permitting). Then we
head down the Stuart Highway on our way to the spectacular sheep station
of Rawnsley Park where we overnight in dorm accommodation. (BLD)
Day 5 - Wilpena Pound to Parachilna
An early start to the day for the challenging climb of Mt Ohlssen-Bagge.
Be rewarded with fantastic views of Wilpena Pound, the Ranges, desert
and Lake Torrens. In the late afternoon we travel onto Parachilna for
sunset and our overnight dorm accommodation. (BLD)
Day 6 - Parachilna to Adelaide
This morning we take a short walk to view rock art at Yourambulla Caves
then visit the ruins of Kanyaka Homestead. We take a break in the beautiful
Clare Valley before continuing on to Adelaide, arriving in the late evening.

Day 7 - A Free Day in Adelaide to Relax
Dorm Accommodation included. (Meals at own expense)
Day 8 - Adelaide to the Grampians
We travel through the picturesque Adelaide Hills, over the mighty Murray
River and through South Australian country towns to todays destination,
the magnifecnt Grampians NP. Spend the afternoon hiking at Hollow Mountain
and the amazing MacKenzie Falls, finishing the day with breathtaking sunset
views from The Balconies and Reeds Lookout. Overnight is at Halls Gap,
in the heart of the Grampians. (D)
Day 9 - To Princetown via the Great Ocean
Road
Start the morning with a challenging hike to the Pinnacle, exploring the
natural wonders and breathtaking views this national park has to offer.
We visit Brambuks Aboriginal Cultural Centre before heading south to the
coast and Warrnambool for a chance to view whales (seasonal). The renowned
Great Ocean Road beckons for us to explore its beauty. You will see the
Bay of Islands, Bay of Martyrs, The Grotto, London Bridge and Loch Ard
Gorge before enjoying sunset over the Twelve Apostles. Overnight in the
township village og Princetown. (B,D)
Day 10 -Princetown to Melbourne
This morning we enjoy an early sunrise at the Twelve Apostles before makingn
our way down Gibson Steps to the beach for a different perspective of
these amazing formations. Next up, we spend time at the awesome Otway
Fly (2 25 metre high elevated tree top walk). Continuing on we pass through
the magnificent cool temperate rain forests of the Otway National Park,
onto the coastal towns of Apollo Bay and Lorne, exploring the pristine
beachs and gorges. We make our way via the world famous Bells Beach to
Torquay (home of Quicksilver and Rip Curl), after clearing the shops of
bargains, we head to the final destination of Melbourne. (B)
