Tasmania 5 Day

Day 1: Arrive Hobart
On arrival at Hobart Airport you will be transferred to your hotel (flights anytime, airfare not included). Afternoon is at leisure.
Hotel: Wrest Point (standard) or Hotel Grand Chancellor (superior), Hobart, 2 nights.

Day 2: Port Arthur – Richmond
We begin with a fascinating guided walk of Port Arthur’s infamous convict prison and historic site followed by a cruise around the Isle of the Dead. We head to Richmond, a historic town which has the oldest convict built bridge in Australia. En route you will marvel at the extraordinary coastal formations Tasman Arch and Blowhole at beautiful Eaglehawk Neck. B

Day 3: Hobart – Launceston
This morning enjoy a tour of Hobart. See the Botanic Gardens, Salamanca Place and Constitution Dock. Later depart for Launceston where we’ll enjoy a tour on arrival.
Hotel: Mercure Hotel (standard) or Hotel Grand Chancellor (superior), Launceston, 2 nights. B

Day 4: Cradle Mountain
We travel to Cradle Mountain National Park. We’ll visit the Waldheim Chalet and gorgeous Dove Lake to see spectacular Cradle Mountain and catch stunning views of the Franklin River. Visit the information centre or just breathe in the fresh air. B

Day 5: Depart Launceston
You will be transferred to Launceston Airport to connect with your onward flight (flights anytime, airfare not included).
