Southeast Highlights

Day 1. Sydney.
We welcome you on your arrival and transfer you to your hotel. This evening choose from one of Sydney’s fine restaurants (own expense).
Three Night Stay: The Menzies Sydney (Standard), Sofitel Wentworth (First-Class), Shangri-La Hotel (Deluxe).

Day 2. City Sights, Beaches and Lunch Cruise.
The morning is free to explore the delights of Sydney on your own. At midday, join a luncheon cruise on one of the world’s most beautiful harbours. After your cruise take in the city sights. On to the famous Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Kings Cross.

Day 3. Blue Mountains, Three Sisters, Koalas.
This morning tour the spectacular Blue Mountains. View the Three Sisters, giant rock formations towering over the Jamison Valley. Perhaps ride aboard the Skyway (own expense). Later, visit a wildlife park to see unique Australian animals. Have your photo taken with a koala (own expense).

Day 4. Sydney, Melbourne.
Enjoy the morning at leisure before transferring to Sydney Airport for your flight to Melbourne (flight not included). Met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Tonight explore the charms of this cosmopolitan city.
Three Night Stay: Melbourne – Mercure Welcome Hotel (Standard), Mercure Grand Hotel Swanston (First-Class), Hotel Sofitel (Deluxe).

Day 5. City Sights Tour, Little Penguin Parade.
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Melbourne. In the afternoon, journey to Phillip Island and witness the evening return of Little Penguins from the sea.

Day 6. Melbourne, Great Ocean Road.
Today travel along Victoria’s famous Great Ocean Road with its breathtaking and unique scenery. Enjoy a traditional Aussie morning tea. See famous surfing beaches, including Bells Beach, the craggy ‘Shipwreck Coast’ and the Twelve Apostles.

Day 7. Melbourne, Adelaide. Morning at leisure.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Adelaide (flight not included). We meet you in Adelaide and transfer you to your hotel.
Two Night Stay: Adelaide, the ‘City of Churches’, Hotel 208 (Standard), Holiday Inn on Hindley (First-Class), Radisson Playford (Deluxe).

Day 8. Barossa Valley Wineries, Tastings.
Head north of the city into the Barossa Valley, one of Australia's most celebrated wine districts. Explore the Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre and discover wonderful wines with tastings at three premium vineyards then sit back, relax and indulge in a delicious lunch.

Day 9. Sea Lions, Kangaroos. Fly to Kangaroo Island.
We take a guided beach walk at Seal Bay to see Australian sea lions up close. Enjoy lunch in a secluded setting then explore the north coast.

Day 10. Flinders Chase, Koalas, Fur Seals.
Today we see New Zealand fur seals in their colony. Explore Admirals Arch and Remarkable Rocks and, after lunch, search for koalas. At dusk, we see both Tammar wallabies and kangaroos graze out on the open. Airport transfer for your flight to Adelaide.
