18-35 year old tours Tasmanian Panorama- 13 DaysVoted one of the top 100 tours for the 21st century by Travel and Leisure Magazine Grade:
Easy to moderate. Suitable for fit first timers. (7 days bushwalking,
5 days cycling, 1 day rafting.)
Warmed up, we travel to the Central Plateau and the Walls of Jerusalem, where we hoist backpacks for a three day wilderness walk. This once-glaciated region consists of five main peaks dissected by open, grassy valleys. Our base camp will be chosen from the many lakes surrounded by wildflowers and groves of pencil pine we pass along the way.
At Cotes Bay we have a day of leisurely walking through the spectacular Freycinet National Park. A day of vehicle travel through Hobart and south takes us to the Huon and Picton Valleys for the final leg of our adventure. The head waters of the Picton River rise in the mountains of Southwest Tasmania and flow through lush forests, before joining the Huon River on its way to the sea. We launch our rafts on the upper Picton River to begin one and a half days of river revelry - the rapids are exciting yet not too wild. We finish our adventure back in Hobart. Cost

bicycles, rafts and safety equipment. support vehicle and transfers.
